April 25, 2006. Well now. I've just randomly decided to update after, what...8 months of silence? Hello!

Let's see, what have I been up to? Well, I had a baby:

Elias Stephen was born on February 6! He and Henry get along famously, and, overall, I have to say that adding another kid to the mix hasn't been nearly as crazy an idea as it initially seemed. I do feel like I spend an awful lot of time changing diapers, however. But that's not really a big surprise.

You know? I'm not even going to worry about being pithy or eloquent here. I just had to update with something before a year went by. But there you go: I have another adorable son, and we're calling him Eli, and everyone is getting along well, and Peatie is taking it all in stride, and our front porch project is actually done, which I'll post pictures of in probably another year, and it's 9:46 which means it's 46 minutes or so past my bedtime so there.
